Our Thoughts is a collection of CaptureMRG news, events, latest work, and helpful advice.
Rock & Brews' original location came to us to get t-shirt designs printed. Soon after, another Rock & Brews location came to us to get t-shirts printed but requested a very different design. Immediately, alarm bells went off and we wondered, “Where is the Brand Consistency?”
Turns out, this was an important question that needed to be asked—and one that took our role with Rock & Brews from just t-shirt printers, to a marketing partner.
We met with every Rock & Brews location and Corporate to put together a consistent merchandising solution for all Rock & Brews franchises and corporate-owned stores. In executing this united vision, we have designed and manufactured branded:
My Other Bag came to us looking for help with product development and creating a manufacturing and supply chain. It was important to the founder for the bags to be made in the USA, in the most Eco-friendly manner possible, while still being cost-effective.
To fulfill this request, we sourced the entire supply chain—from raw canvas to cutting to sewing to printing to finishing—completely in Los Angeles. Doing this allowed us to keep the transportation costs low, and enhance the brand’s narrative of being made “locally in Los Angeles.”
Capture also, took over in-house fulfillment, warehousing, packing and shipping tens of thousands of wholesale and e-commerce retail orders for My Other Bag. In doing so, we developed packaging and automated shipping solutions that continue to be used by the growing company.
Fox producers came to us to develop a Season 10 Wrap Gift for cast and crew. As a favorite show of our team, this was great; everyone was happy. Then we found out it was due in 2 weeks and had to really wow. Needless to say, we got to work immediately.
We decided, in collaboration, that a great pair of customized sunglasses would do. But not to make things easy, we decided they needed to be authentic Ray-Ban wayfarers. We set about sourcing the glasses, and with input from the shows creative team, we came up with a total overhaul for them. In six days our team took apart 150 pairs of glasses -> sanded arms down -> taped off -> custom painted with automotive paint -> pad printed -> clear coated -> reassembled and placed in custom case.
We crossed our fingers that the glasses would meet Frank Reynolds seal of approval. They did.

HBW came to us looking for corporate logo options for the company’s newest elite division. They also asked us to create a process that allowed independent agents to customize and order branded merchandise—business cards, letterhead, envelopes, and postcards—in low quantities with direct printing services.
We got to work crafting a new logo and business card layout options. Once these creative choices were made, we designed corresponding letterhead envelope and postcards to maintain brand consistency. Next, we created an online store to offer independent agents the ability to purchase one apparel or promotional item in quantities as low as 36 units—with no setup fees and low delivery fees.
As a result of our work, HBW now has consistent, professional branding nationwide with apparel, products, and printed goods, controlled by corporate approval; and 9,500 independent agents now order from one centralized online system.
Concerned their logo was marketing to the wrong customers, Space Jam came to us looking to redesign their logo for their Space Jam line of e-liquid vapor juices.
After rounds of pitching and revisions, we finally came up with a new winning logo. Our work was so well-received that Space Jam asked us to design logos for two more recently launched vape juice brands.
But, since we like to take our work to the next level, we took it beyond the logos…
We worked with Space Jam to plan the launch of their rebrand at the largest convention for their industry. We designed and developed the largest, craziest tradeshow booth their industry had ever seen, hired talent to work the show, and created the primary giveaways as the title sponsor for the trade show.
Nano H20 came to us to develop a special holiday thank you gift for employees and friends of the company, to commemorate their purchase by LG. They requested us to provide a minimum of eight options, based on three tiers of budget; include gift wrapping; and drop ship fulfillment services, delivered by December 15th—no exceptions.
First, we assigned an account executive to Nano H20 to have a discovery meeting. Turns out the CEO was tuned into the fact that Apple has just bought Beats headphones, just like they had been purchased by LG. He wondered if we could get them Beats headphones.
We were not only able to source Beats Headphones, but we were also able to customize the headphones, the cases, and add packaging, for less than retail pricing. The gift was a huge hit, and one that we have been asked to reproduce many times over now.
Blue Ice Vodka came to us hoping to save money with bulk order analysis and overseas production. They also asked us to create custom promotional products to be used in the restaurant, festivals, and sporting events arena.
To start, we designed an overall concept, budget, and two-year event schedule. Next, we analyzed previous years' spend and quantities distributed per event, then presented quoted options to compare domestic and overseas production rates and time frames.
With our concepts in place, we designed and created 3D renderings and outlined the raw materials needed, providing pricing and production options for 20 different promotional items. Of the 20 ideas presented, Blue Ice Vodka decided to contractually produce 14. Our custom designs included custom molding, led technology, and QR code trackability, giving Blue Ice the tools to take their brand to the next level and compete in the competitive vodka market.
